I like the melodics from 0:58-1:40, though I feel there could be some more variation in the voicing of the synth (filter/fx automations, etc.), and in the melody itself. It continues for 20 seconds under a full minute. I like to follow an 8-bar rule when I am structuring stuff, and then go back and add small variations/adjustments in places that need them (eg : every 4 bars a small fill, or a change in melodic notes but not timing.) The big thing to follow is every 8 bars, subtract something old AND/OR add something new. Can also reintroduce elements you haven't used in recently within the arrangement for fun lil' callbacks.
There is also room at around 100hz-250hz for a top layer to the sub bass, and that is usually the space that needs some extra dressing (compressors/saturators/fuck it, guitar amp) in anything synth-laden. I think filling that space here will improve the oomph behind this track. Make sure you EQ the synths up top so the new layer doesn't contribute to any muddiness.
I believe it best to leave genre labels to people whose job it is to define that stuff. As long as you're writing what you want to listen to!
If you want more comprehensive mix feedback or notes on the arrangement, feel free to PM.
